The large capacity the FLSH memory causes the storage medium trend to shift from the HDD or magnetic tape to the memory card
built-in SDD (silicon disk driver).
The SD card prospects to be used for other equipments than DVC, DSC or mobile phones, sharing 70% of the total memory card
market in Japan.
This product has a feature to transmit data from ATA/IDE bus to the SD/SDHC bus, and enables to control the SDHC memory card.
The IP core built-in this product is developed and made by the Zentek Technology Japan, Inc.(*)

MSC1007 is the ASSP which has unique SD - ATA bridge function, replacing HDD with SDHC memory card.
