FCRAM
FCRAM (Fast Cycle RAM) is a random access memory featuring low power consumption, and has PSRAM(Pseudo SRAM) interface or low-power SDR/DDR SDRAM interface in product family. The FCRAM features both low power consumption and high-speed data transfer capability, thus optimal for mobile applications such as cellular phones and digital consumer electronics such as digital television and camcorder, that require high-speed processing of large-scale digital data.
FCRAM products are provided in wafer, bare chip, or package form, and then, proposed as SoC or SiP solution that FCRAM and logic chips are comprised in single package.
The new 256M-bit Consumer FCRAM, low-power consumption memory for digital consumer electronics, is now available. This FCRAM
has the data transfer capabilities equivalent to two DDR2 SDRAMs, while requiring about 1W less power consumption, or a 70%
reduction.
